Cosmetics destined for the Canadian market must be have a compliant label unique to Canada, with appropriate cosmetic claims, using the proper naming conventions for ingredients, and in bilingual format (English and French).
Health Canada requires that all cosmetics be labeled in both English and French, with the exception of ingredients, which are required to be in INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) format. Label claims must also be in compliance with the Cosmetic Regulations, and are often different than the types of claims that are permissible in other countries.
Our team of experts will review your existing product label and make the necessary revisions to meet compliance in Canada. If you currently do not have an existing label, our team will generate a compliant label script based on your product formulation. In both cases, our team will also translate the label content into French so that all requirements will be met for entry into the Canadian market.
